First published in 1982, this small collection of poetry, originally composed during years of missionary service in Africa and Gibraltar, has been revised and re-issued to co-incide with the author's celebration of fifty years as a professed religious Franciscan sister. The collection takes as its central theme the concept of relationship, both human and divine, where the joys, the griefs, the perplexities and the challenges are all named. With echoes of Manley Hopkins and Teresa of Avila, these poems offer the reader both a perceptive insight into biblical scenes and a realistic description of the moments of faith and doubt that beset the heart searching for God.
