In the autumn of 1888, the world's most notorious serial killer terrorised the streets of Whitechapel, London and became immortalised as a figure of horror and death. For over one hundred years the name of Jack the Ripper has inspired fear, horror, and intrigue amongst people across the globe and the bloody and terrifying case remains unsolved to this day. With all the intrigue and spectacle that surrounds the shadowy and enigmatic killer, it is all too easy to forget that behind the monster was a man. I Am Jack looks at the man behind the monster and explores what could have driven someone to commit such horrific and heinous acts. Originally performed by the awarding winning Swan Youth Theatre at the Vesta Tilley Studio, Worcester, UK the original production was critically acclaimed and sell-out success.
