Opis

One side of this map shows, in detail, the locations of all the German defensive positions (from WN 60 - WN 74) as well as the locations of all the coastal and field artillery batteries. For the allies, the complete order of landing is shown. In addition there is a brief account of the landing and the assault on Pointe du Hoc. The reverse side of the map contains sidebars on the Navy at Omaha and the US Mulberry harbor. Altogether, there is a huge amount of information for both the novice and expert.
