Siti has four really good mates - Donna, Lu, Kelly and Rachel. They are so close that Siti calls them her sisters. In Secrets, Rachel meets a really gorgeous boy. He's a friend of Briony's so Rachel decides it's best not to tell the sisters. But of course, like all good friends, they soon sense something's wrong. Feeling pressured into things she doesn't want to do, Rachel soon tells all. The sisters know all about Briony's friend and it's not good, but what will persuade Rachel that he's not worth it? Each fast moving story is around 1200 - 1500 words in length, with tightly controlled vocabulary and contemporary black and white illustrations throughout to help readers engage and follow the narrative. Published by Ransom Publishing, the books are designed to appeal to reluctant readers aged 12 - 14 with a reading age of 7 - 8 years. There are a further 18 books in the series. In the other sets Siti and her sisters are younger and therefore they have a younger interest and/or reading age.
