Opis

All objective indices show that the marriages of today's Africans in the contemporary African Diaspora world, have increasingly become seriously troubled, often alarmingly broken and literally deadly. This new harrowing experience now increasingly commonplace among Africans living in Diaspora foreign lands, especially the West, of irreconcilable marital conflicts and Western-type "divorce" (a term or concept that lacks a literal equivalence in most African languages), previously alien and a rarity in African marriages and culture, has often left Diaspora marital couples and their children in nothing short of utter ruins - life of bitterness, misery, disharmony, dysfunctionality, horrendous violence and unspeakable savagery, and even the shedding of family blood.   Volume One. Essentially the "diagnostic" part, defines and sets forth the problem, identifying and locating the basic "root source" of the factors and issues at the core of the problems and difficulties afflicting broken and threatened Diaspora Africans' marriages, while outlining the basic culture, attitudes and values of America and the West in matters of marriage and the family, and their the negative impact they have on some Diaspora African spouses, the so-called "Americanized" or "Westernized" Africans.  . Volume Two. Is essentially the "treatment" part that deals with the remedial aspects of the problem. Outlines a systematic approach by which an African in the Diaspora (or in Africa) can essentially "plan" and lay a solid foundation for, and have, a successful and virtually fail-proof marriage in the Diaspora that inculcates BOTH his/her African culture and Christian or Muslim tenets, culminating in an African Diaspora marriage and family of harmony and fulfillment that lasts for a lifetime. Benjamin O. Anosike, B.B.A., MA., Ph.D., has severally served at various points in his long and illustrious career, as a New York civil and family law practitioner, legal scholar and counselor, certified marriage mediator, pre-marriage counselor, domestic relationship expert, public consumer rights advocate and social activist, professional writer, citizen journalist, University lecturer, and oil dealers' Mandate & Consultant. Anosike is the creator of the fail-proof ASFGSM formula (Anosike Strategic Formula for Guaranteed Successful Marriage) - the simple but effective formula for guaranteed harmonious personal relationship, which, when strictly adhered to in marriage, almost guarantees you'd have a lasting, happy and successful marriage. Educated and resident for almost his entire life (except only for his teenage years) in the United States, Anosike holds the B.B.A, the M.A., and several advanced degrees, and a Ph.D. degree, which he earned in jurisprudence (law). Dr. Anosike is joyfully and peacefully married to his wonderful wife both of whom live with their three delightful boys. keywords: Marriage, African, American, Divorce, Legal, Civil, African Culture, Christian Culture, Diaspora, Marital Conflicts
