He holds a BA from Baylor University, a MA in philosophy from the University of Missouri-Columbia, a MDiv from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, a DMin from Union Theological Seminary in Virginia. He is the author of Jesus Christ Is With Us and a collection of pastoral prayers. Now retired, he is active in his local congregation.
