The central focus of this book involves the strategies and processes that are based on the Universal Design philosophy and principles from three different areas: architecture, product design, and information and communication technologies (ICT). The book examines a key question: What is meant by a Universal Design strategy and how can these approaches be developed, understood, and practiced within the different design disciplines?
