new talents - biennale cologne ist die Zukunftsplattform für künstlerische und gestalterische Berufseinsteiger aus den Bereichen Kunst, Film, Musik, Design und Tanz. Im Zweijahresrhythmus werden jeweils mehr als 50 ausgewählte Absolventen sowie nationale und internationale Gäste präsentiert. Die vierte Ausgabe findet vom 10.-25. Mai 2014 erneut im Kulturquartier Köln und weiteren Kooperationsorten statt.§Ziel ist es, die jungen Absolventen, ihre Werke und ihr Können in den Fokus der Wahrnehmung zu rücken. Anhand von Ausstellungen, Filmvorführungen und Präsentationen schafft new talents den Künstlern und Kreativen eine Plattform, auf der sie ihre Arbeit der Öffentlichkeit präsentieren können. Gleichzeitig gewährt das Festival dem kunst- und kulturinteressierten wie auch dem zu interessierenden Publikum einen Einblick in das aktuelle kreative Schaffen in den verschiedenen Sparten und macht Köln, Düsseldorf und das Rheinland als Hochburg der Kreativausbildung sichtbar.§Zur Biennale erscheint ein vierteiliger Katalog im Verlag DIE NEUE SACHLICHKEIT, der die Arbeiten und Präsentationen der über 50 Teilnehmer dokumentiert. Die vier Bände (Kunst, Film, Design und Musik/Tanz) sind als Gesamtpaket im praktischen Schuber erhältlich.new talents - biennale cologne is the platform of the future for artistic and creative professionals from the areas of art, film, music, design and dance at the start of their career. Every two years it presents more than 50 handpicked graduates and national and international guests. The fourth edition takes place from May 10 to 25, 2014, again at the cultural quarter Cologne and at further cooperation venues.§The aim is to put young graduates, their work and skills, into focus. By deploying exhibitions, film screenings and presentations, new talents generates a platform for the young graduates to exhibit their work to the public. At the same time, the festival enables everyone interested in arts and culture to gain insight into the current creative work from the various areas and presents Cologne, Dusseldorf and the Rhineland as strongholds of creative education. §For the biennale a catalogue will be published at publishing house DIE NEUE SACHLICHKEIT, documenting the work and presentations of over 50 participants. The four volumes (art, film, design and music/dance) are available as edition in a practical slipcase.
