With a degree in chemistry from Oxford University as well as an MBA, Doug Lavers has worked at a stock broker's office, as an engineering cost analyst at Ford's European Research and Engineering Centre, and as a money market dealer. Subsequently he was employed in senior positions in the finance industry.
