Structural Reform in China's Regional Governments, the result of a three-year research project endorsed by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, explains the growth and evolution of China's regional governments, as well as the influence these governments have on China's socioeconomic development pattern. Based on a thorough review of the current data, the book conducts an analysis of data from China's provinces over a period of the past 30 years using multiple econometric models.
