Avalera Montenegro was an unusual kind of Numinous Agent...  Unlike the Death Merchants, Ava didn't kill her capture. Six--years she had been an A.T.E.C. agent, and her career was the stuff of legends, using her body to protect humanity at all cost. The A.T.E.C unit was a singular breed of witches, warlocks, vampires, fae and shifters protecting humanity in ways the average citizen had no clue of. But this last capture had been brutal. Not only had he spelled her, but he'd nearly choked the life from her; causing Overseer Walsh to question as to whether or not Ava should remain on the team.
