Articles were published in the monthly Al -Muqattam newspaper in Egypt, where he chose a pseudonym, and began publishing them under the signature of "Zuhair"; He did so in order not to prevent literature from criticizing the right of friendliness, but he was known after that, or was discovered, so he changed the disappearance, and adopted his original signature. An atmosphere of anti -myth and blind traditions of society was popular, and articles were characterized by the prevailing ignorance among people at the time, which is due to the imbalance of the level of the political and social individual at that time. The topics also varied, and he discussed the education and freedom of women, the problems of foreign occupation, Ottoman tyranny, and so on.
