Elkington

Welcome to Elkington—the sanctuary.  Discover the multi-generational epic of Elkington, a town born from the fierce faith and unyielding labor of its founder, Derek Elkington, who carved a sanctuary out of wild soil alongside immigrants and indigenous tribes.  Shifting into the modern day, the novel weaves together the deep, raw exploration of Kieran Mills as he seeks a fresh start and healing in Elkington, fighting to overcome the heavy, haunting shadows of his past, alongside the story of Samuel Chen—an exiled newcomer navigating life in the valley—and Valerie Gills, a local store clerk and passionate entomologist whose down-to-earth grace captures his heart.  Rooted in rich history, unwritten local laws, and deep human emotion, Elkington is a tale of survival, faith, and the enduring power of a fresh start.
