GUNDAM FORWARD - Mobile Suit Gundam: The 08th MS Team

This issue of Gundam Forward marks 30 years of Mobile Suit Gundam: The 08th MS Team. The special feature, "e;Next-Level Gunpla Realism,"e; asks how an 18-meter mobile suit would hold up in real conditions, then answers it on the workbench. Space, jungle, desert, and water each get a case study, with notes on weathering, field repairs, and details borrowed from modern tanks. Professional builds include the Ground Type Gundam, Gundam Ez8, GM Ground Type, Gouf Custom, Zaku II, Acguy, Ball Type K, and the High Mobility Prototype Zaku. The opening topic covers the Gundam 50th Anniversary Project, launched at Gundam Conference Spring 2026, including the prologue film A Boy with Gundam and the roadmap toward 2029. Regular columns are here too: Sayaka Mizuno's Mobile Sweets Introduction, Living a Laid-back Modeling Life, Gundam Figure Review, and a close look at the GGG Aina Sahalin (Snow Night Ver.) figure.
