They call Lisa Stack the Asphalt Angel and more oftenThe Bitch On Wheels. But deep down, shes soft as mush. She drives on the sometimes lonely anddangerous highways across America in her Freightliner, making the asphalt cryout beneath her. Lisas heart-pounding lady trucker adventures begin when she is the subject of abrutal mugging. She gets caught in the web of the notorious N.Y.G. (New YorkGang), whose slogan is: Comply or you die! She witnesses the explosion of a gastanker and the murder of its driver by ski-mask wearing hoodlums. Lisa gets a tour of New York City with a gun to her head, under the watchfuleyes of Tony, a member of this vicious gang. She experiences the gangs worldof narcotics, extortion, prostitution and murder, with no light at the end of theproverbial tunnel. Fasten your seatbelts and listen to the roar of the engine.
