Modern education

Modern education emphasizes that the child is the true and effective focus of the educational process, based on his abilities, interests, and personal characteristics, in contrast to traditional education, which used to place the center of gravity outside the child, and since childhood has its own goal, this realization must provide the only happiness that He can feel it, as traditional education forces the child to adopt the goals of his parents and teachers and resorts to punishment and various methods that ensure the achievement of the school's goals. In this context, the books of the educational researcher Angela Medici are present, especially her book "e;Modern Education"e;, whose distinguished translation we are honored to reissue, and which is considered one of the most prominent reference books in this field. Its author starts from a concept that she believed in and called for, which is that education The modernity did not aim to prepare the child for a particular profession, but rather aimed to form him comprehensively and ensure the achievement of his balance and happiness.
