Obscene Suspicion

Georgia. A blistering summer. No parents, a backyard pool, plenty of tequila, and five friends determined to squeeze every last drop out of their final weeks of freedom.Every night the party spills out onto the patio. And every night, sooner or later, all eyes drift to the house across the street. That's where Priya lives. Nineteen, gorgeous, and always hanging on her stepfather's arm. A hand on his chest. A whisper in his ear. A smile that says way too much. The neighbors talk behind closed doors. Out loud, nobody says a word. The kids on the patio aren't so polite. They laugh. They place bets. They pass judgment.A stepfather and his stepdaughter… how far will this game go before the whole street explodes?Obscene, they call it.But on a picture-perfect street with picture-perfect lawns, everybody's watching. The real question is who actually sees. What would you have thought?
