But I'm also a tracker, renowned throughout the country for my abilities to search out information and take the pieces that I find and put them into a completed puzzle. So when Skippy is found on the side of the road fighting for her life, I head back out to the site to see what I can find. I never expect to locate another woman, one who is clinging to life by a thread. And when she tells me what she endured, I realize that we've stumbled onto something so horrific, so reprehensible, that it's almost incomprehensible. Once my brothers know what I do, we vow to find those responsible and shut them down. Not only that, but I'm now living at their clubhouse while they search for the people who think it's perfectly acceptable to hunt another human being.Once I get to know Mercury, I realize he is the missing piece to my life. The only thing I worry about is whether or not he feels the same. Because being his has become my number one goal; I just hope I achieve it.
