Research on Interpretation Processing

On the basis of combing a large number of studies at home and abroad, Interpretation Processing Research systematically sorts out the more core contents of the current cognitive processing research, focusing on the three modules of interpreting and cognitive control, interpreting process, and interpreting ability. The first chapter introduces the main research directions, theoretical foundations and research issues in the development of interpreting processing research, providing a clear orientation for the theme of the book. Chapter 2 provides a concise but comprehensive introduction to the relevant research methods. Chapter 3 explores the relationship between interpreting and cognitive control, and the topics mainly include the theoretical exploration of the relationship between interpreting and cognitive control, cognitive control in interpreting, and the effect of interpreting experience on cognitive control. Chapter 4 is the main content of the research on interpreting processing, which introduces the research on the interpreting process, including language processing and general cognitive psychological topics (memory, attention, anxiety, cognitive load) during interpreting, factors affecting the output of interpreting, as well as research on eye movements and neuroscience of interpreting process. Chapter 5 focuses on cognitive processing perspectives on interpreting competence development, including the dynamic complex system of interpreting competence, interpreting experience and language competence, and interpreting strategic competence.
