Tea Sutra is the world's earliest, most complete and most comprehensive introduction to tea, and is known as the "e;Encyclopedia of Tea"e;. The author Lu Yu (733-804), named Hongjian, was born in Jingling, Fuzhou (now Tianmen, Hubei) in the Tang Dynasty. He has been addicted to tea all his life, and is proficient in tea ceremony. He was known as the "e;tea fairy"e;. Tea Sutra is divided into ten parts in the first, second and second volumes, including: the first source, the second tool, the third creation, the fourth utensils, the fifth boil, the sixth drink, the seventh thing, the eighth out, the ninth Jiu, the tenth picture. It is a comprehensive treatise on the history, origin, current situation, production technology, tea drinking techniques, and principles of tea production. From now on, all tea books will be written here. Continued Tea Sutra was compiled by Lu Tingcan of the Qing Dynasty in the style of the Tea Sutra.
