Trouble With Almost

THE TROUBLE WITH ALMOSTA Contemporary Romantic Comedy by Mourad ErrahlaSome people are easy to work with. Falling for them is another story.Claire Bennett has built her career on keeping everything under control. As an executive producer of a Chicago morning television show, she knows how to handle a production crisis, manage difficult personalities, and make sure every second runs according to plan. After a painful divorce, she has applied the same rules to her personal life: keep expectations low, avoid unnecessary risks, and never depend on someone who might disappear. Then Daniel Mercer walks into her studio.Charming, quick-witted, and frustratingly unpredictable, Daniel is the new co-host Claire never asked for—and the man she has spent the past year trying to forget. They once shared an unforgettable evening that seemed to promise something real. Then Daniel vanished without an explanation, leaving Claire with questions she never intended to ask again. Now they must work together to save their struggling morning show. Between live television mishaps, competing creative instincts, and a growing audience that loves their on-screen chemistry, keeping their relationship strictly professional becomes increasingly difficult.Behind Daniel's easy humor lies a man struggling to balance a second chance at his career with his responsibilities as a father. Behind Claire's perfect composure lies a woman who fears that opening her heart will mean carrying the weight of another relationship alone. As professional success brings them closer, old wounds threaten to pull them apart. Daniel must learn that silence is not protection, and Claire must discover that control cannot guarantee safety.Because sometimes the hardest part of falling in love isn't admitting what you feel. It's deciding whether the person who once left deserves the chance to stay. The Trouble With Almost is a witty, emotionally engaging contemporary romance about workplace tension, second chances, unexpected chemistry, family responsibilities, and the courage to choose love without losing yourself.
