A country's regional environment plays a significant role in shaping its foreign policy, and Turkey is among the countries most affected by its regional environment. We also observe Turkey's desire to move beyond its current regional role to a broader and more prominent international one. Many internal factors influence Turkey's foreign policy and its regional and international relations. These include political parties, public opinion, the Islamist movement, interest groups, civil society organizations, and the military establishment. External factors, such as the impact of its geostrategic location, also play a role. Its membership in NATO and its relations with the United States, Israel, and the European Union all have a mutual influence on Turkish foreign policy decision-makers, pushing them to act cautiously and with balance to achieve Turkey's interests. Therefore, it can be said that the regional policy that Turkey began to practice in the post-occupation phase poses a potential threat to the national security of neighboring countries in particular, in the event that the Turkish political decision succeeds in implementing what it planned regionally with the help of the international influence. Thus, Turkish foreign policy will have a negative or positive impact on the national security of neighboring countries.
