When Laura DeMarco, the aspiring and ambitious chef and owner of one of the ten top restaurants in Napa Valley kissed her husband Nick goodbye before she left for work, she had no idea he would mysteriously disappear. More mysterious is the impasse the police and FBI faced when they were unable to locate Nick in any database. He simply did not exist. How can someone just disappear?
