Long before the modern era, the völvas walked the earth as healers, seers, and weavers of destiny. Cissi Williams reclaims their tradition to offer a structured yet intuitive path back to the ancient feminine wisdom encoded in Norse mythology, the nervous system, and the ancestral DNA of every seeker.

Drawing on the Völuspáaacute; and Norse scholar Maria Kvilhaug, the author maps the soul's journey through the cosmology of Yggdrasil as a living metaphor for the human nervous system. The deck’s 44 beautifully illustrated cards move through the four directions: West for awakening and healing; North for nourishment and receptivity; East for clarity and soul alignment; South for claiming one’s path, wisdom, and magic. The deck includes cards representing Freya, the Norns, Dark Mother Hel, and the She-Wolf, each offering somatic meditations, spoken incantations, and healing processes designed to dissolve fear, reclaim sovereignty, and actively weave a new destiny.

For seekers drawn to Norse tradition, shamanic practice, or the reclamation of feminine spiritual authority, this deck offers a grounded system for transformation that honors ancient wisdom and the lived experience of the modern practitioner.
