6 1/2 Days To Cairo

London, 1937. As Europe edges toward war, aspiring writer and aviatrix Caitlynn Fox Quinn learns her Egyptian neighbour has

been murdered and, with her usual disregard for danger or diplomacy, steps in to help solve the crime. Derek Trenchard,

the Scotland Yard detective leading the investigation, is decidedly unimpressed by her involvement and advises her - rather firmly -

to leave well enough alone.

Naturally, Caitlynn does nothing of the sort. Instead, she enlists her well-connected friend Merlyn Zhou, whose diplomatic ties and

sharp instincts prove invaluable. Strange ghosts, missing letters, and a troubling piece of evidence soon convince Caitlynn there is a plot-a

foot with pro-German spies and a mysterious Egyptian artefact.

Together, the two women travel to Cairo, where matters become considerably less theoretical. No sooner have they arrived than

they run headlong into Andrew Sinclair, an a able American attaché, and Derek - still coolly irritable, and rather inconveniently

dashing - both of whom had previously assured Caitlynn that she was imagining things. Now, however, the two men have begun to

share her suspicions and suggest that the four of them work together.

With the world on the brink of war, the unlikely quartet realize they are in a race against time - not only to solve a murder, but to

find a sacred object before the Ahnenerbe seizes it for their own dark purposes.
