Authentic Neigong

The classical path of internal alchemy, from the first posture to the return to emptiness, set down whole in a single volume, with the practices given in followable form as far as a book honestly can.

Most books on neigong and neidan cover fragments of the path: a breathing method here, an orbit there, a stage described without what comes before or after it. This book gives the complete classical sequence in order, from the building of the foundation through the refining of essence into qi, qi into spirit, and spirit into emptiness, with each stage grounded in the Chinese source texts and each practice named plainly so the reader can see where it sits in the whole.

Part One holds close to the classical sources and fills most of the book. Key passages are given in Chinese characters with pinyin and translation so the reader can see exactly what the tradition says in its own words. The practices of each stage are presented in a consistent structure: the principle, the mechanics, the method, and the markers and mistakes that tell you how you are doing. Nothing is invented. Where the sources fall silent, the book says so rather than filling the gap with speculation.

Part Two turns to what the open texts leave out: the places where sincere practitioners stall, the reasons the foundation fails to reach the depth the classics assume, and what can be done about it. It speaks from over a decade of training and almost a decade of living in China. It says plainly what most of the field would rather not face.
