Because God Has Spoken

What do you say when life gets hard?

When the doctor's report isn't what you hoped for, when the bills are due and the money isn't there, or when you've prayed for years and nothing seems to change, what comes out of your mouth?

As a boy, Pastor Chad Fisher was diagnosed with severe juvenile rheumatoid arthritis. Doctors said he would never walk again and would be blind by eighteen. God had other plans. He walked, he ran, and he still doesn't need glasses. Decades of facing sickness, money worries and long seasons of waiting taught him a simple truth: our words matter, and we can learn to say what God says.

Because God Has Spoken is a practical guide to praying and proclaiming the Word of God over every area of your life. Each proclamation comes with the Scriptures behind it, so you aren't just repeating phrases. You're standing on what God has actually said.

Inside you'll find proclamations for:
• Your foundation in Christ: who you are in Him, the power of His blood, and freedom from guilt and shame
• Your mind, heart and words: renewing your mind, taking thoughts captive, and freedom from fear and anxiety
• Freedom and victory: standing in Jesus' victory, God's protection, and breaking destructive patterns
• Life in the Holy Spirit: being filled, led, made holy and equipped to serve
• Everyday life: healing and strength, provision, generosity, wisdom, trials and waiting, and joy
• Home, relationships and church: marriage, the next generation, forgiveness, and unity
• Children and families: a whole section kids can say along with you, from big feelings to bedtime

Use it on your own, around the supper table, in a small group or as a church. Open to whatever you're facing today, read the Scriptures, speak them aloud, and let God's truth build your faith.

Your confidence isn't in a book or in how many times you say the words. It's in Jesus and the faithfulness of His Word. Because God has spoken, you can speak too.
