Climate change and variability is a global circumstance, with impacts that are already being experienced around the world where human beings are observing and accurately changes in their local climates. Many of the most vulnerable communities, especially in Sub Saharan Africa, are already struggling to cope with the impacts of climate change. The reasons of the continent failure to adapt has been associated with not only availability of necessary resources in financial terms, but also lack of knowledge and technical capability. This is on the background that Sub Saharan Africa is one of the most vulnerable sub regions to climate change and variability, a situation aggravated by the interaction of the multiple stresses that occur at various levels and the agricultural systems' low adaptive capacity.
