CONVERTED

At thirteen, Danny Sloan pulled a strange metal shard from the bottom of a lake - moments before a craft he couldn't explain hung silent in the sky above him. Forty years later, he's a mid-level customer service rep at a New England electric utility, trading stocks on his lunch break, hiding a locker full of secrets from his wife, and still seeing the same impossible formula flash behind his eyes every time a migraine hits.

He's never told a soul. Until now.

When Danny finally sets out to solve the equation that's haunted him since childhood, he assembles a black-market think tank of blacklisted scientists, uncovers a cold-fusion power source that shouldn't exist, and realizes the artifact in his pocket might be worth more than the entire company he works for. But ICOMP Electric already knows more than they're letting on - and Danny is about to find out exactly how far a power company will go to keep the lights on their terms.

Fast, funny, and stranger with every chapter, Converted is the story of an ordinary man who discovers that the biggest secrets in the universe don't come with instructions - and that sometimes the only way forward is to stop being afraid of your own life.
