Synopsis

ETHAN COLE, a weary businessman, meets DANIEL MERCER in an Icelandic airport bar-two strangers with an uncanny resemblance who spark an unspoken connection. When a casual joke about their likeness evolves into something darker, they strike a bargain: Ethan will commit a crime in London that Daniel desperately needs done. In return, Daniel will handle a murder in Washington, DC. It's the perfect mirror-two crimes, two jurisdictions, two men who have never met before and will never meet again.

But perfection is fragile. Both jobs explode almost immediately. Ethan's carefully staged theft in Hackney implodes when a witness sees him. Daniel's assassination in DC goes sideways when his target refuses to die according to plan. Within days, British detectives and American federal agents are closing in on both men, their surveillance tightening like a noose.

What neither man understands is that they were never meant to succeed. They were chosen-carefully, deliberately-to be pawns in a far larger game. The man orchestrating both crimes, known only as the BROKER, has set them up to fail in ways that will expose deeper enemies neither ever suspected. As Ethan and Daniel scramble to survive, they discover they share more than a face: they share the same mysterious architect of their downfall.

In a climactic confrontation, Ethan and Daniel finally meet face to face. They realise the truth-that they've been mirrors of each other all along, reflecting the same manipulation, the same exploitation, the same carefully orchestrated descent into guilt.
