This book contain subject of Verses of 4000 Divya Prabandham written by 12 Saints i.e. 12 Alwars, The Nalayira Divya Prabandham is a collection of 4,000 Tamil verses composed by the 12 Alvars, and was compiled in its present form by Nathamunigal during the 9th - 10th centuries. The religious works of these saints in Tamil, their hymns of love and devotion, are compiled as the Naalayira Divya Prabandham, containing 4000 verses and the 108 temples revered in their songs are classified as Divya Desams. These were sung by the Alwars in devotional estacy in various shirines of Vishnu, made famous as Magalashasana sthalas.
In this book Volume -1 deals with Pasurams of Divya Desams of Chola Naadu contain 40 Vaishnavic Temples, surrounded in Cauvery Delta region, Each Verses i.e. Pasurams contain the meaning and related philosophical meaning called Vyagyanam. Atpresent Volume - 1 covers the Alwar Pasurangals sung by various Alwars in 40 Divya Desams of Chola Naadu, which covers in the District of Southern Tamilnadu like Tiruchirapally, Thanjavur, Nagapattinam, Mayiladuthurai and Seergazi regions. In my subsequent volumes the remaining Divya Desa Pasurangal will be given with meaning.
