About the Stumble Family

Every Stumble book opens with a Stumble who is wondering about something in life and has no idea what the answer is.

Feelings included: being left out, making a mess of things, feeling lonely, being proud, making friends, being a bit too much. They poke at it, they turn it over, and make you wonder too. It runs in the family.

Shall we find out together, they say. That is the invitation: first the story, then the questions. Some to think about, some to ask each other, and one wonderponder. Answer one, answer all, skip the lot, or ask a better one.

The real invitation is to find out something about each other that neither of you went looking for.
