Pieranna Garavaso and Nicla Vassallo investigate Gottlob Frege's notion of thinking (das Denken) to provide new analysis of a largely unexplored area of the philosopher's work. Frege's conviction that human mental processes should not be regarded as philosophically relevant contrasts with the fact that he paid so much attention to the notion of thought itself.
