It was normal summer evening in June 2018. Cynthia Pacheco and her son, Josiah, were on their way to drop off some voting ballots at a high school when they were t-boned in an intersection by a drunk driver. The drunk driver was unscathed, Josiah was badly injured, Cynthia went home to be with the Lord. The family struggled with deep emotions, questions, uncertainties in God, and pain. But Adolfo, knew that God had not forsaken them.

Held Together is the true account of the roller coaster ride of emotional, mental, and spiritual changes that Adolfo endured throughout his life, leading to this climactic event. He openly shares his struggles with anger as he grew up with a father who struggled with his own demons of drinking, drugs, and a violent lifestyle. Adolfo shares what he learned through the loss of his daughter, forgiving her killer, and more. His journey shows how he overcame anger and found forgiveness and release.

Adolfo Pacheco was a Director of Technology at a major corporation when this book was written. He has served in various churches supporting in different capacities over the years and is a forward thinking and determined leader not settling for less. His strength as a man of character and integrity is respected in business and ministry. He is married to Rachel since 1981. Together they have raised 5 children with a growing number of grandchildren now. Adolfo has served as a leader in business and in ministry with experience that includes strategic development, operational deployment, and launch projects. He loves the Dodgers baseball team, and is also a drummer and percussionist.
