These are not ordinary times. Evil no longer hides. The fear of God has been buried under entertainment, pride, and worldly noise. The Church is busy but powerless, distracted and divided, while false prophets and pulpit bandits multiply and many souls drift without discernment.

This book is a trumpet call to wake up. It sets the signs of the times in the light of Scripture: the shaking of nations, the groaning of creation, the increase of deception, and the rise of rebellion dressed as progress. It presses one sobering truth upon the conscience. The Judge of all the earth will not keep silent. A day of reckoning is fixed, and the birth pangs are intensifying.

Yet this is not a book of panic but of direction. The world is collapsing under sin; the gospel remains the only sure anchor. The message is drawn from the old hymn "In Times Like These," written during the darkness of World War II, and it points to the same Rock that has never moved, Jesus Christ. You cannot afford to play with sin. You cannot trust in men. You cannot live without the Word of God. In times like these, you must be very sure your anchor holds and grips the Solid Rock.
