Kimiko

Kimiko Maruyama has mastered the art of working alone. Now, she faces a mission that demands something she has spent years avoiding: a partner.

Once a member of the legendary Kyoto Six, Kimiko left her life as a samurai behind after a devastating mission changed everything. She has since forged a new path as a highly skilled ninja, relying on discipline, precision, and her own abilities rather than depending on others.

When her former master, Osamu, approaches her with a dangerous assignment, Kimiko discovers that even her considerable skills will not be enough. Infiltrating a heavily secured seventy-story tower requires two operatives, and Osamu has already selected her partner.

Corey, a confident and quick-witted ninja from the alien world of Neca approaches life with an enthusiasm that contrasts sharply with Kimiko's reserved personality. As the two women undergo intensive training, Kimiko must learn to coordinate with someone whose methods and personality are very different from her own.

Their mission will demand flawless timing, unwavering concentration, and the ability to adapt when circumstances change. With discovery threatening everything they hope to accomplish, Kimiko must confront a challenge that cannot be overcome through individual skill alone.

In a world where trust can be as dangerous as any enemy, pushing boundaries may be the greatest test of all.

Kimiko: Pushing Boundaries is a character-driven science fiction adventure set in the Crimson Alliance Universe, exploring independence, trust, and the unexpected bonds forged through extraordinary challenges.
