Letters to my children is a series of nostalgic dummy letters that the author wrote while furthering his studies in the U.S.A., far away from his wife and children. The novel also depicts a number of concerns of the author whose home state of Lesotho finds itself surrounded by the oppressive regime of South Africa just before Nelson Mandela was released from prison.
