Kelley Jo Smith is an emissary of light, an ordained minister, a spiritual teacher, and a new age artist who shares her ongoing process of conscious expansion with honesty, transparency, and tender vulnerability. Luminosity and the Ways of Light is her first book on spiritual growth and enlightenment.

Kelley Jo Smith has deep roots in Michigan. She was born on the southern peninsula and raised on the northern peninsula. As the sixth of seven children, she grew up in a large family, which has given her a strong sense of connection, community, and social responsibility.

She is the proud mother of three accomplished adult daughters and five darling grandchildren. Her steadfast love for her family and herself reflects her dedication to nurturing others and fostering personal growth. Guided by her intimate relationship with God, Kelley's life purpose is fueled by deep reverence and alignment with her inner light.

Travel and cruising are among Kelley's favorite activities because they satisfy her adventurous spirit and let her explore new places and cultures. She is an accomplished oil painter, enjoys cultivating perennial gardens, and practices spirituality through reading, writing, and guided meditation. In addition to her love of music, art, and dance, her adventurous spirit takes her outdoors to experience nature's beauty and awe.

Kelley is always excited to meet new people and learn new skills. Her next goal is to master ballroom dancing and to learn to play pickleball.
