Mommy Always Comes Back

Mommy Always Comes Back is a heartwarming children's book that follows Bobby, a spirited young boy, who faces everyday struggles of growing up and understanding our world. Join Bobby as he navigates the challenges of separation anxiety, learning the invaluable lesson that, no matter what, mommy always comes back. This enchanting story, filled with warmth and reassurance, is a must-read for parents and children alike, emphasizing the importance of patience and understanding during these tender moments of childhood.

We follow Bobby and his family in a number of daily situations when Mom needs to leave the room and he gets upset and fears mommy will not come back. This is when all of his family surrounds him with love and reassurance and helps him through the hard emotions.

Via repetition of the phrase in an easy and rhythmic form, the book " Mommy always comes back" helpschildren find strength and positive reassurance that in fact mommy will always come back. At the end Bobby overcomes his fear and suddenly is ' grown up so much '.

Separation anxiety is universal and most children go through this stage. We, as parents, can support our children when they experience these challenging emotions. For a young child the combination of visual engagement as well as repetition helps tremendously to understand what is happening - this is why children's books can be so valuable to a parent. With understanding children also find the peace they need to go over this stage as quickly and as smoothly as possible.

This is why I wrote this book. I watched both of my sons struggle with separation anxiety and it was that repetition and reassurance that helped them tremendously. It was magical when my oldest son told his little brother "Don't worry - mom always comes back', years after I had told him that same thing.

This books is part of a series that focuses on supporting little readers with their big emotions, "Tales of life and wonder" - The Emotional Intelligence for Tiny Humans series
