Never Enough

Do you ever find yourself trying to squeeze notes in the margins of a book? Do you run out of room, have trouble deciphering what you wrote, or later have trouble finding the note when you need it? It's frustrating, isn't it?

I love taking notes when I read an educational book. I write all over the margins, and if there isn't enough space, I grab whatever piece of scrap paper I can find. Sometimes, attempting to be more organized, I find a notebook to write in. I have piles of notebooks. Do I know which notebook I used for which book? Hardly. And despite my good intentions, those scraps of paper seem to disappear, never to be found again.

I created this workbook because I want to help you avoid all that frustration. In this workbook, specifically designed to accompany the book Never Enough-Separating Self-Worth from Approval, you'll have a place to take notes on each chapter and to write or illustrate your answers to the ideas for reflection questions found at the end of each chapter.

During my many years working as a licensed psychologist, I've noticed that repeated exposure to information in a variety of forms seems to be most helpful in learning new skills. Clients who took notes and read them between sessions, who reflected on what we talked about in session, and who practiced the skills made the most movement in changing old patterns.

I hope this workbook will support you in doing that by making it easier for you to take notes, reflect, and practice the skills of the BLOOM model. Use this workbook to "underline" and what is most important for you in separating your worth from approval.
