Nietzsche's Works

From the metaphysical vision inspired by Schopenhauer and Wagner to the shattering skepticism that permeates his works from Human, All Too Human to Ecce Homo, Nietzsche's thought acts like dynamite, detonating certainties and destabilizing entrenched systems, religions, morals, institutions, and traditions. His explosive ideas reveal the multifaceted tragedy of existence with a potent blend of high poetry and radical critique, raising questions that remain unanswered to this day.

In this volume, Sossio Giametta-renowned Italian translator of Nietzsche's complete works and contributor to the seminal Colli-Montinari edition-offers an insightful analysis of Nietzsche's entire philosophical trajectory, from major works like Beyond Good and Evil and Thus Spoke Zarathustra to the lesser-known Dionysian Dithyrambs. Giametta examines how Nietzsche's philosophy dismantles the decadence epitomized by Wagner's aestheticism while intensifying his own radical vision of amoral vitalism and existential violence. This book provides an unprecedented portrait of Nietzsche as a moralist, philosopher, poet, psychologist, and prophet, whose explosive ideas mirror the crisis of civilization itself.
