Oath

An unknown entity enters a town on the east side of the kingdom. Every man, woman, and child is pulled towards it and drained of their souls. The entire town of three hundred people drops dead, instantly taken by ancient magic.

Sophia, a gifted seer, has a horrific vision of the events. High Bishop Boramus sends Knight Commander Godrin and his group of knights on a mission to investigate. They find an empty town, void of all life. Bodies left rotting in the square. The mystery continues in the captain's quarters, where the knights inside were incinerated from the inside out. Leaving nothing but burnt outlines and ash remaining. The only clue, the captain's log book.

Hordes of undead slip inside unnoticed and exterminate entire cities in the night while the kingdom's best hope remains one step behind. The ancient darkness looms behind them, steering the horde from afar. An old legend is proven real. The kingdom of man must unite under a holy banner in order to stand a chance at stopping them. As the darkness closes in, Godrin and Sophia must decide what they're willing to sacrifice to save each other, and the kingdom they've sworn to protect.
