It's 2005 in a small town in central Alabama and three barely teenaged boys are enjoying the end of summer break. On their way home from exploring some local woods, they make a terrible mistake and cause a car accident. Together, they do their best to rid the scene of evidence and to hide what they've done. Now there is one dead girl, and another one...gone. But where? The police are at a loss, that is until 18 years later when a critical piece of evidence is discovered. The three boys, now men, must navigate the challenges of such a heavy secret and the threat that the police might uncover it. One cracks under the stress and turns to narcotics. One is ready to just turn them all in. The third, well, he has no intentions of his secret being discovered and is willing to do whatever it takes to keep it hidden, including killing anyone else who might threaten his freedom.
