Shattered Prophecy

Ten years ago, Istrum Solwyn, the last wielder of god magic, was Elarion's greatest hope. Chosen by prophecy, he set out to save the world. Until ... he didn't. He shattered the prophecy, walked away from destiny, and returned to his tower. With him went Lynette Starsong, a young girl who has spent the years since dreaming of adventure and the chance to become a hero herself.

Now the destiny Istrum left behind is calling him back.

For Lynette, it is everything she ever wanted. A journey beyond the tower. New companions. A chance to live the adventures she has only imagined.

But Elarion is far more dangerous than her stories promised. Ancient evils are stirring, old enemies are rising, and the shattered prophecy has left wounds deeper than anyone realized. As the danger grows and the heroes around her prepare for war, Lynette can do little but watch. Wanting to be a hero and having the power to become one are two very different things.

Because Lynette Starsong has no magic.

At least, she isn't supposed to.

Shattered Prophecy begins The Starsong Chronicles, an epic fantasy series of broken destinies, ancient magic, unlikely heroes, and a young woman searching for her place in a world where even prophecy can fail.
