Stacks

When Charleston paramedic Kayla Ferguson discovers her younger brother, Rylan, dead at a call, the police quickly rule it an overdose. Refusing to accept this, Kayla's determination to uncover truth, throws her into the path of Chase 'Stacks' Hunter, the president of the Royal Bastards MC, Charleston Chapter. As they form an uneasy partnership, Kayla is pulled into a dangerous world of rival gangs and corrupt officials, forced to trust a man whose world is the complete opposite of hers to get justice for Rylan and survive a war in which his death was the lynchpin.

Chase 'Stacks' Hunter, president of the Royal Bastards MC, Charleston, has found himself between a rock and a hard place. When Kayla Ferguson accuses him of murdering her brother, he quickly convinces her that there is more to the burner phone she found in his apartment. Rylan was up to something, and whatever it was, it has caused tension between the Bastards and a rival club to explode. War is on the horizon as Stacks tries to prove who is responsible and uncover the corruption. Their uneasy relationship shifts as he becomes the one man willing to protect her from those who want her gone, offering safety that borders on possession, and rooted in something that he can't put a name to yet.

Will the hunt for the truth put her in more danger than she can deal with, or will Stacks' protection and love be enough to survive the chaos coming their way?
