The Beast Rising

While on earth Christ often spoke of the end of the world as we know it and a coming day of judgement. Upon hearing these things His disciples asked, "When shall these things be? And what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world" (Mt 24:3)?" In response Christ noted the following, "And there shall be signs... "And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh," Lk. 21:25,28.

We note that Christ did not say, "IF these things come to pass," He said: "WHEN they come to pass." "When these things begin to come to pass. What a bold statement on the part of Christ! What is so amazing is that as we look around, we can see evidence of the things that the Bible said would take place at the end of this age are now taking place. The Divine Author of the scriptures (God) declares Himself to be the only one who can, at the very beginning, tell us how the end will be. "There is none like me. I make known the end from the beginning," Isaiah 46:9-11, (NIV).

1. We are told that there would be a return to the violence of the days of Noah, 2. There would be a return to the promiscuity of Sodom's day, 3. There would be a dramatic increase in knowledge and mobility, 4.Earthquakes, tsunamis, and global warming would increase. 5. We are told of the end time beastly rising. 6. We are told that there would be a rejection of God and His guidelines and that Humanism would be the dominant religion, 7. Israel will be reborn culminating in the great conflict (Armageddon).

In truth, we have indeed arrived at the place God said we would be, and we are acting just like God said we would. No one or not situation functions outside of the realm of God's perfect knowledge of everything. God knows everything. He knows the past because He was there. He knows the present because He is here, and He knows the future because He is already there waiting for us to show up. In His inspired word God gives us the answers to these most perplexing end time situations and circumstances. Throughout this series we will examine these issues.
