Washington, 1963. A room appears where no room should exist. Inside is a man everyone remembers-except the agent sent to investigate him.

When Senior Field Agent Cassidy Rowe is called to a structural discrepancy inside a federal building, she finds a door between Rooms 113 and 115.

The number on it is 114.

Inside sits Thomas Bell, a Bureau employee Cassidy has never met. His office contains years of payroll records, photographs, reports-and documents bearing Cassidy's own signature.

Bell insists they have known each other for six years.

Cassidy remembers none of it.
