Johnette Downing is a musician and the author of thirty books and twelve recordings for children. Called the "Pied Piper of Louisiana Music Traditions" and the "Cajun Raffi" by the media, Johnette has received dozens of awards and has performed on five continents.

Jennifer Lindsley is a Louisiana-based artist and illustrator who received her Associate of Arts in Acting degree from the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in Los Angeles, California, and her Bachelor of Arts in Design Technology degree from the University of Northern Colorado. She is an art instructor in New Orleans, Louisiana, where she resides.
