The Moral Case for Zionism

Reclaiming one of history's most weaponized ideas.

Casey Babb's The Moral Case for Zionism is a clear-eyed, passionate reclamation of one of history's most powerful ideas-and a guide for saving it from those who have spent decades weaponizing it against the very people it helped survive.

Babb takes us on a journey beginning the morning of October 7 that is part personal reckoning, part historical examination, and part urgent call to arms. Weaving together his own story with historical fact, contemporary insight, and a compelling vision of what Zionism offers the modern world, Babb makes his case: Zionism is not what its enemies say it is. It is a love story worth fighting for-rooted in hope, perseverance, belonging, and an unbreakable bond between a people and their land-one that still has something profound to offer Jews and non-Jews alike. From lessons on the power of hope and democratic values, to giving, healing, and believing, Babb illustrates that in Zionism-there is something for everyone.

In the war of words over Israel's legitimacy and the Jewish people's place in the world, The Moral Case for Zionism fires an intellectual salvo-challenging readers to see past the headlines, reclaim the truth, and stand up for an idea whose greatest days may still lie ahead.
