Who is the Bridegroom-and why does Scripture reveal Him through the image of the Lamb?

Throughout Scripture, God has been painting a picture.

The Bride is not the beginning of the story. The story begins with the Bridegroom.

From the earliest pages of the Old Testament, glimpses of Him appear through the lives of men and women, through covenant, sacrifice, priesthood, kingship, and the prophetic feasts of the Lord. What may appear to be separate stories begin to reveal a single divine pattern-a Bridegroom preparing to redeem, gather, and ultimately receive His Bride.
